Just watched this movie tonight. I can heartily recommend it to anyone who likes a good fairy tale. The story is absolutely beautiful, I was genuinely moved in places. Amusing part for me is that M. Night Shyamalan wrote, directed, produced and had a large acting role in this movie...and the character he plays is terrific by the way....how much more can one man do in his own movie?
It has been fun to watch his growth in storytelling throughout his movies, he keeps getting better and better.

I heartily agree. It sounds like most critics didn't like it too well which in itself says something about how good a movie it is.
The only movie of M. Night's that I'd rate higher is The Village which is my personal favorite.
